In 1994 in a neighborhood on the outskirts of a city, an ordinary grudge fight between street youths turns into a catastrophe. Zakari accidentally kills François, panics, and then hides. During a night on the loose and full of unexpected meetings, the fever that shakes the city is on everyones faces, as if that real-life drama forced everyone to reveal his personal truth. There are those who are looking for Zakari to protect him, and there are those who want to avenge their brother. All are struck by the same torment. Whatever the color of their skin is, they are like each other like peas in a pod…

Olivier Dahan
Olivier Dahan began to shoot short films when he was sixteen. At the same time, he attended art school in Marseilles, specializing in painting. He has been working for Bandit Productions, Jean Baptiste Modino's agency that produces clips and commercials. Frères marks the debut as film director.
