Enzo is a calm, silent, reserved man who has only one obsession - food. He eats steadily and can't stop. Ever since he was a baby he has had his obsession. At school he took part in contests in eating the most and beat everyone who dared to challenge him, and he was punished for this. Even in catechism class, he went through problems when they tried to teach him to receive the host in communion without chewing it. But he has his first real problem at work, where his obsession costs him many reprimands and, finally, he gets fired. He consoles himself holing up in a restaurant where he eats for 24 hours, consuming half of his severance pay. The scene is witnessed by one of the most important Tv hosts, who invites him on his program to advertise food products because he represents the perfect consumer. Enzo tapes the commercials and watches them at home while ha eats. (He eats while he watches himself on Tv eating). He gets more and more ugly, rough and disgusting, and for this reason he is abandoned by his friends and by his girlfriend. And so, he finds himself alone at home barricaded in his lair, showing signs of instability and even beginning to eat the furniture decorations. Finally, a mailman comes and he bites him to pieces. For this, he is sent to a mental asylum.

Lorenzo Calzeroni
Lorenzo Calzeroni (Milano, 1968) graduated from a scientific high school. He now is a liberal arts student at the State University of Milan. In 1993 he worked along in the production of the 16mm short film, Due vite, due uomini, directed by Merve Pak He co-directed - with Marco Bonfante, Simone De Rosa and Alessandro Rizzo - the documentary, Binari (video, 1993), presented at the eleventh Turin Film Festival. In 1994 he received a diploma from the Center for Professional Training for Film and Television Technology of the city of Milan, specializing in production and direction assistance He worked as assistant director in the short film, Per sport, l'importante è giocare, made for the Province of Milan, and as production manager for the tourist documentary Vieste, immagini al confine.
