The first film made in the Congo and the first love story in African cinema.
He wants to put her love to the test and disappears. But first, he arranges things with a traditional healer. In a state of despair, she goes to the healer to ask for help in finding her beloved. The healer pretends to do a ritual. Convinced that she has been abandoned forever, the young woman roams the streets of Brazzaville. She walks all night long and, in the delirium of her despair, curses the tradition of a male chauvinist society. In the morning, on the river bank, she realizes that a child has been watching her. She follows him and finds her loved one amidst the ruins of an abandoned house.
