We see two faces of a single piece of reality at the same time on a screen divided into three parts. Image after image, and image on top of image - these lead us to analyze the relationship we have with food and with others through food itself. This human relationship is represented by a language that we often do not notice at all. There are people who cry silently, expressing this scream with their own bodies.
"Pasta is a deaf scream, an inner cry. It is a look at what we usually do not want to see. It is an investigation into the feelings that push us to live or to die - the feelings that we are too often not aware of. It is an inner vision of the world, which we perceive through the filter of our senses. In the interview with Laura, I hope that my coldness in stripping her soul naked can be useful to many people who will be able to see themselves in her and to overcome the hard times in life" (Matteo Pedani).

Matteo Pedani
Matteo Pedani (Rome, 1966) attended the Ipotesi Cinema school at Bassano del Grappa from 1990 to 1992. In 1997 he received a diploma in documentary filmmaking from the Rome National School of Cinema. In 1991 he made his first video.
