Polifemo is a photographer who "robs" photos of human faces and then reads them as a mirror of the soul and as the past and future story of the people the faces belong to.
Alfredo Santucci (Carpineto Romano, Rome; 1958) was a director and television host from 1976 to 1991. He attended two courses in film direction and subsequently, from 1989 on, directed documentaries, industrial films, and short advertising films. For his role in Polifemo Tano Cimarosa won the 1998 Golden Sacher as the best male actor.
