The outskirts of a city, a hotel, nighttime. The director of the hotel during an interrogation is telling about what happened. The neighborhood fun fair was going full steam. A woman with two children and no luggage entered the hotel. The children were sad, without the father. The man decided to take advantage of the situation. She rejected him. He will only tell part of the truth to the police.

"This short film is dedicated to Zbynek Hloch and was made by young people who studied at FAMU and today work for Czech television or private companies. They are French, Norwegian, Polish and Serbian, but we all spoke in Czech" (David Duponchel).

David Duponchel

David Duponchel was born in Rouen, France, in 1970. He studied acting, theater, cinema, history and directing at the Sorbonne, in Paris. After becoming fascinated by the Sumerian language, he made a short film and moved to Prague. In 1998, he enrolled at FAMU, the famous Czech school of cinema.
