"In this video I filmed pairs of people who were talking to each other. They did not notice they were being filmed. In post-production I then cancelled one of the pair. This was a silent amputation that was hard to perceive. In this way I got a series of soliloquies whose ultimate feel is that of an entirely real scene" (Paolo Lonzi).
