COMO ESTRELLAS FUGACES

COMO ESTRELLAS FUGACES
by Anna Di Francisca
Country: Italy
Year: 2012
Duration: 98'

Edoardo is a composer who, after a period of refusing everything around him and an ensuing creative crisis, leaves Italy and moves to a village in Spain. The lovely atmosphere of the place, the company of authentic and good-natured people and his participation in the local choir manage to defeat the aura of negativity behind which he is hiding himself. Edoardo finds the energy to start writing music again, the music which most resembles him and which will help him reconcile himself with his country.

Declaration

film director

“Como estrellas fugaces is a choral story, with ironical overtones, which follows the vicissitudes of five characters, four women and a man. The women’s vivacity, so earthy and real, makes the characters believable and it’s easy to relate to them. The music is a counterpoint. Como estrellas fugaces is this, too: a tender and yet sarcastic look onto a universe which is female and eager for change and joy; which finds in singing the strength and the energy to rebel against adversity."
