Declaration
film director
“Vera is numb, overwhelmed by guilt, distant from her husband, and somewhat obsessed with a past she feels she can still somehow amend. The various situations she faces throughout the film lead her to accept the fact that we can’t truly control what happens to us, and this acceptance is an invitation to hope and forgiveness.”
