Xavier Giannoli

Xavier Giannoli (Neuilly-sur-Seine, France; 1972) graduated with a degree in Modern Literature from the Sorbonne in 1993. He had worked as director's assistant on numerous films, videoclips and commercials before filming L'Interview - which won the Golden Palm for short films at the Festival of Cannes in 1998. He has directed three other shorts: Terre Sainte (Grand Prix at the Festival de Cognac, 1995), Dialogue au Sommet (the prize for quality by the CNC and a Césars nomination in 1997), J'aime beaucoup ce que vous faites (the prize for quality by the CNC and the prize for best screenplay at the British Film Festival, 1996). He has just finished writing the screenplay for Sans Titre, his first full-length film.
