Declaration

film director

With the production title Schülerfilm, we created, in some sort of loneliness, a feature film that focuses on fifteen-years-old kids. We’ve been busy for one whole year with hundreds of pupils from Wasseramt and Solothurn, examining films, inventing stories and finally rehearsing scenes and dialogues. Within six weeks this preparatory work with a professional troupe got into a feature film of average length.
The actors and the troupe committed themselves not to reveal the story, which was invented, until the day of the premiere. We can only say that the focus of the action is an imaginary class that lives between daily school routine, relationships and an uncertain future.
