La fuga

Piera is a woman married to an atomic technician, she has a son, a good life and, like all the women of her social status, artistic interests. Behind this picture of normality, hides a deep existential distress. The psychoanalytic treatment doesn’t really work and during the cure she ends up thinking about her parents, who have now been divorced for years, about a husband that ignores her, about the birth of a child that made that sense of inefficiency and failure even sharper. A new horizon seems to open up when she meets Luisa, a clever and refined woman and she falls in love with her. But this experience will be source of disappointment and serious psychic damage as well. Her situation has no solution. Her marriage has failed and Piera, after the breakup with her friend, will die in a car accident.
