Laura nuda
by Nicolò Ferrari
Laura, a rich and young lady, has to marry a wealthy man. She is not sure about the wedding, but she can’t find any reason to run away, so she accepts, hoping to change her life and to get rid of her parents. At the wedding feast, Laura meets Marco, a young and nice professor. After the honeymoon they meet again and become lovers. The relationship ends soon, because the professor leaves. Laura ends up being a typical middle-class wife, bored and disappointed. She accepts the attentions of other men, without falling in love with them, just to escape her ordinary routine. One day Laura has a date with a man that has been flirting with her for a long time, but when the moment comes she changes her mind and runs away, desperately. It is now clear in her head that these adventures won’t help her escape her crisis. While she is driving her car, she has an accident. She wakes up in the bed of a countryside hospital, where a priest assures her that she is going to be all right. But Laura knows she is seriously hurt. During the last moments before her death, she will think about her childhood, her hopes and the disappointments of her brief life.

Declaration
film director
I tried to portray a young lady, but without making a psychological film. I put together a character, but not in an objective way. She is an intellectual, but she wants to realise what is going on...
