Amos Poe

Amos Poe (Tel Aviv, Israel, 1950) is considered one of the founders of No Wave Cinema. Films of his belonging to this movement include the documentary Night Lunch (co-directed with Ivan Král, 1975), his first feature film Unmade Beds (1976), The Blank Generation (1976), The Foreigner (1978) and Subway Rider (1981). In 1984 he directed Alphabet City, still his most famous movie.
