A VOICE FROM THE EDGE

It is a windy night. Susy has decided to take her own life. She sets up a noose, carries a chair to the middle of the room, and climbs up on it, She ties the noose around her neck. Before she lets herself go, she looks around. A gust of wind comes in through the window and Susy gets the chilIs. So, she decides to get down from the chair to look for a sweater. She puts it on. She gets ready for the second time to jump down from the chair, but something stops her again. In fact, she finds a note in her pocket on which is written: "Wait. Don't do it". She is surprised. She looks around and decides to look in the pockets of the other pieces of clothing scattered about the room. In this way she finds a new message: "Look yourself in the face. You are terrible. Put on some makeup". Then she finds another: "Open the window. Let the sun rays enter. They are life". Susy looks toward the window, but it is still nighttime. Desperate, she looks for another sign that permit her to live. She finds a fourth note inside a drawer: "Look at yourself. You are so young, intelligent, and sexy…". Susy gets mad. She tears up all the notes. She goes toward the noose and kills herself. After a few minutes, the wind calms down and the sun begins to rise. Everything is a mess in the middle of the room. One can read a fifth message clearly that says: "Don't do it. I love you".
