This monologue of Charlie Palmano originated in collaboration with Claudio Misculin of the Velemir Teatro of Trieste, which works inside of the expsychiatric hospital of the city, using techniques of dynamic memorization. This is an analysis of the mental health center with excerpts from Charlie's personal life.

Cristina D'Osvaldo (1965) and Donata Martinelli (1968), are students of film history and criticism at the University of Trieste. They work with the production house, La cappella Underground. The Center is the Pits originates in their experience in social assistance agencies in Trieste in the post-Basaglia period.
