Sophie Jackson
Sophie Jackson came to the Australian Film, Television & Radio School with a BA in Visual Arts from the City Arts Institute, Sydney, where she became involved in filmmaking. She worked as assistant director and art director on a number of short films before joining the production workshop of the AFTRS. She has formed a production company, Arcadia Pictures, with Robert Herbert and another fellow student, Francisco Vidinha. Uneasy Pieces is her graduation film. All five short films were produced by Sophie and she also wrote and directed three of them.
