François Truffaut, Akira Kurosawa, Federico Fellini, Woody Allen, Peter Weir, Francis Ford Coppola, Nanni Moretti, Alberto Sordi, Totò, Robin Williams, Kathleen Turner... in the classroom. This is a tracking shot through film's one hundred years to discover how the indiscreet eye of the camera has projected the dreams and nightmares of our schooltime imagination onto the big screen. This run through five stopping off points that have been suggested by the films themselves and by our work experience is a way of talking about school and keeping up our love of film.

Fabio Carlini

Fabio Carlini (La Spezia, 1946) taught Italian and history for many years in high school. At the same time, he was an active film critic and screenwriter. Now he is an expert consultant at I.R.R.S.A.E. He curated a series of monographic studies on directors. He published portraits of Arthur Penn and Alfred Hitchcock and studies on science fiction film and the French New Wave in his collaboration with daily and monthly film reviews, such as "Cinema & Film", "Bianco e Nero", and "Vita e Pensiero".

Donata Dinoia

Donata Dinoia (Milan, 1955) is a teacher of literary studies in an upper middle school in Milan. She has years of experience in the use of film and theater in the school. At present she is working on an investigative video on professional institutes and on other film-editing projects.
