This video is meant to be a tribute to and a revaluation of the two actors who are known for minor productions, but who stand out as a realistic mirror of the nation. It is highly worthwhile to reexamine their expressive power in various settings, which can hold up even under the hardest circumstances. The film originated as an emotional narrative and purposely seeks to avoid a philological approach. The task of expressing the desired atmosphere is left to Ciccio and Franco's expressive quality, to the animated image, and to the musical commentary.

Saul Saguatti
Saul Saguatti (San Giovanni Persiceto, Bologna, 1966) graduated from an artistic high school in 1984 and from the Bologna Fine Arts Academy in 1988. During this period he was also attending courses specializing in cartoon animation. His first work centered on experiments with animated graphics. He then crossed over from classic 35mm cartoons and animated puppets to computerized 2D animation and drawing directly on the celluloid frame. His mixture of techniques also comes out in his direction of video clips, where the traditional film or video shots with actors and a backdrop blend in with animation techniques. At present, he works free lance making videos and commercials.
