Michael Moore
Michael Moore was born in Flint, Michigan. Al 22, he founded the alternative newspaper "Flint Voice", and in 1989 he produced and directed the documentary Roger and Me, a satire about his quest to convince General Motors Chairman Roger B. Smith to visit Flint and witness the devastation wrought by General Motors plant shutdowns. In 1995 Moore made his first fictional feature, Canadian Bacon, a satire about the United States after the Cold War. Tv Nation won an Emmy for "Best Informational Series".
