Pietro Antonio Izzo
Pietro Antonio Izzo (Roccabascerana, Avellino, 1950) grew up in Naples, where he attended a classical high school. He graduated from the University of Venice in Architecture in 1976. He moved to France in 1988, where he works as an architect. In 1994 he attended a workshop on directing and assist-directing at the University of Paris, III. Further, he attended a course in ethnographic film at the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris. Avant le soir is his first experience in the field of film directing.
