In an apartment two men are discussing a dirty deal. After a violent brawl one of the two, Giorgio Zanardi, fatally wounds the other. From the other side of the street, a man, Gianni Ravezzi, witnessed the whole scene from his window. After a long chase in which Giorgio kills everyone who tries to get in his way, Gianni and the killer reach the basement of the building. Soon the first man who Giorgio shot gets there too. He turns out to be a policeman who before had only pretended to be dead. In the final settling of accounts, one of them will lose his life.
