The stories of several friends are interwoven in a square in Lyons. Manu has a young lover and is afflicted with conflicting emotions. Ysa and Thomas have just been married, but do not manage to depart for their honeymoon trip. While waiting for the decisive encounter of his life, Stéphane makes passes at all the girls who pass by.

Giovanni Maderna
Giovanni Maderna (Milan, 1973) attends the Experimental Film Center in Rome. In 1994-95 he studied at the Film Department of the Communication Institute of the Lumière University of Lyon. In the 1996 Sacher Festival his La Place won the short-film first prize. In 1997 his Jahilia won the Bronze Sacher. He contributes to the radio program "Effetto notte", a show featuring film news, and is active in various Milanese cultural associations.
