Stills is all about Theo, a young man who leads a hectic life and lives in student accommodation in the heart of Amsterdam. He is surrounded by friends who are all hard at work finding their niche in society. Theo wants to pursue a career in music, but has doubts about his own capabilities. He commits suicides and lies dead in his room for four days before a friend finds him.

Mijke De Jong
Mijke de Jong was born in 1959. In 1983 he graduated in directing and scriptwriting from Netherlands Film and Television Academy. He worked as an assistant director on several Dutch feature films. His film Squatters Delight received the City of Utrecht Prize at the Dutch Film Days for the best debut.
