It is a Friday night like another other. Three young men from Chieri meet in Turin after work. Almost by accident they go first to a party, then to spend the night away from their homes. On Saturday morning, they go to a bus stop on the cross streets. On a country path, they meet Giulia. A desire for conquest comes of the three, but their jokes slowly turn into a raptus omicida. For the mass media the three have become the "hill monsters".

Paolo Severini (Turin, 1970) attended a course in directing and acting at the school, "Maigret & Magritte". Strade apparentemente normali is his debut as a video maker.
