A likeable Asian businessman lands in Rome. He will be driven to the fantasylike Cosmos Hotel by a downandout gypsycab driver, who gets more and more upset with a threat that looms over him, coming from an Eastern European underworld figure that is looking for him to settle some mysterious accounts. As the Japanese businessman looks on naively, weird and restless people put the driver on his guard uselessly.

Varo Venturi

Varo Venturi (Rome, 1956) has a university degree in Modern Literature. He began to work as a photographer. As such, he made various cultural reports for popular weekly magazines. He is interested in contemporary poetry. He writes poetry and makes music for contemporary theater productions and performances connected with painting. He formed the group, Mondorhama, working as musician and singer. He then formed the group, Blossom Child, with which he worked as songwriter and producer. He wrote songs that achieved some noteworthy success overseas. In addition, he made four videos. He has long been a film buff and has been interested in directing and acting. In 1996-97 he began to co-author various screenplays with his new artistic collaborator, Ari Takahashi, from Japan. Cosmos Hotel won the Golden Sacher for the best actor (Francesco Cabras).
