A train brings a coffin filled with Hungarian earth to Sierra Negra. Two people are also travelling on the same train. One of them is Marta, who has come to visit her sick aunt, and the other is a travel agent Enrique, who offers to accompany the young girl. The cart carrying the coffin drops both of them off at the crossroads and continues on in the direction of the home of the mysterious Duval. In the meantime, Marta's aunt dies and is buried in the family crypt, while her niece is welcomed by other relatives, aunt Eloísa and uncle Emilio. Enrique also stays with them. Duval is a vampire, and his brother, Count Lacud, who has been in the Transylvanian coffin for one hundred year, is now waiting to come out. Count Duval is hoping to dominate the region with his accomplice, the vampire Eloísa. If he manages to embed his canines twice in Marta's neck, she will also become a vampire. However, in reality Enrique is a doctor who has been called by Emilio to help him. After a night of blood and frenzy, Enrique saves Marta from the flames: the two of them have fallen in love.
