Saturday night. Four Italian-American friends, all from the Gravesend neighborhood, arrange to meet in one friend's cellar to spend the night in each other's company. Things go bad when a gun appears and accidentally kills a man. The four attempt to hide the body, but they have to deal with a seemingly endless series of obstacles.

Salvatore Stabile

Salvatore Stabile is a twenty-two-year-old native New Yorker. After enrolling in NYU film school, he decided to shoot his first feature film with the $5000 he inherited from his grandmother. Gravesend was first shot in 16mm and Video, and presented as a work-in-progress at the Hamptons Film Festival. After founding financial backing, Stabile was able to "blow it up" to 35mm.
