Porta Palazzo in Turin. Every summer it is the natural stage of a curious performance that is interpreted by peopleactors who auction off their watermelons in order to earn a living. "Today we have both ham and prosciutto". The voices alternate, the watermelons fly by and the young Moroccan men sing as if they were on a cotton plantation, as they pass the watermelon crates from hand to hand.

Franco Robust

Franco Robust (Castellamare di Stabia, Naples; 1970). Student at the 1993 course of the Video School for Social Documentation. As camera person, he participated in all the Productions of the I Cammelli school directed by Daniele Segre from 1994 to the present.

Davide Sordella

Davide Sordella starts to study documentary in Italy with Daniele Segre. After his studies he leaves Italy and goes to Bolivia, over there he teaches the use of video and directs several documentaries. After six years in Latin America he decides to come back to Europe, he completes his studies at London International Film School directing three short movies. He is actually working as scriptwriter for a feature lenght movie.
