When an adult suffers a cerebral lesion in the left hemisphere of the brain, she or he may realize that her capacity to express herself and to decode messages that come in may be compromised totally or partially. The protagonists of this video "talk" about love and "tell the story" through slight gestures and through new ways of communicating, which were invented to convey their emotions. Words are often superfluous in this aspect of human life.

Isabella Leoni
Isabella Leoni (Rome, 1964) received a degree in documentary direction at the Rome Experimental Film Center. Her short film Sotto l'argine was screened in the Italian Space Competition at the Turin Film Festival last season. Sotto l'argine. Parole sospese won the Golden Sacher for the best actress, Patrizia Valente.
