Fifty years in the history of an agricultural country village in the Asti area are described through several old photographs that have never been screened before. The photos bring these things to mind the emigration to America at the turn of the century, the First World War, the daily labor with wagons and cows, the marriages, the parties of the Alpini, the school, staying up at night in the winter in the barns, Christmas presents, New Year's Eve practical jokes, dancing at the band shell, and the Second World War. After the war, many couples get married, children are born, and people start to hope again.
