Lenart Dunbar is a penny pinching accountant, he has been commissioned by a new client miss Helen Desaree to audit her mother's deceased estate. Lenart finds Helen to be a prompt and precise person who hated her mother for the very qualities he exhibits. He sets about a course to blackmail her for the inheritance that she will gain from her mother's estate. He discovers reminder notes on the back of receipts and he realizes that Helen killed her mother.

Graeme Burfoot

Graeme Burfoot graduated from Western Australian Institute Of Technology in 1981. In 1984 joined Film Graphics as a freelance designer and became the director of animation department in 1986. He gained reputation as one of the top commercials directors in Australia directing many award winning commercials both locally and overseas. The Beneficiary is his first fiction short movie.
