Sosuke Saga is an assistant police inspector. One night while he is guarding Kunihiro, the head of a religious sect, Kunihiro is killed and he is wounded. Saga loses his right lung following an operation that saved his life. His wife leaves him and he decides to resign from the police force. During that tragic night when Kunihiro was killed, Saga had lost his pistol. This very pistol was used by Shimano Kozo, a hit man, to commit a murder. Sosuke Saga goes on his trail.

Shinji Aoyama
Aoyama Shinji (Fukuoka, 1964) got his start in the world of cinema at an early age, right after graduating from university. He later worked as assistant director for Kurosawa Kiyoshi, Fridrik Thor Fridriksson and Daniel Schmid. He has made twelve full-length films which have been presented at major international festivals, gaining critical success and winning prestigious prizes in Cannes and Singapore. Almost all his works have been presented in various sections at the Torino Film Festival.
