Man-sik is a man who lives from day to day. He has been out of work for a while and his wife has left him, taking their son with her. It's the anniversary of his mother's death and Man-sik doesn't have enough money to organize a proper ceremony.
Park Heung-sik (Kwang-ju, Korea, 1962) graduated from the University of Seoul in German language and literature. Following a stage at the University of Berlin, he returned to Korea to study cinema at ChungAng University. Ha-Roo is his second short film.
