Massimo Luconi

Massimo Luconi worked as assistant director and technical director for stage plays with Luca Ronconi, Eduardo De Filippo, Giancarlo Sepe, and Memè Perlini. He covered similar roles for Salvatore Samperi, Mauro Bolognini and Franco Zeffirelli for films and operas. Since 1985 he has been working as a stage and television director, but he also is involved in films and radio programs. Some of his significant theatrical and television works are focused on issues regarding the mix of cultures and syncretism among the various fields of knowledge and culture present in Italy. From 1995 to 1999 he has served as Cultural Commissioner for the city of Prato. During the 1996-97 season he was the president of the Metastasio theater.
