Alma, a young French teacher, has a relationship with Oskar, one of her students who has recently lost his mother. After Alma meets Henrik, a linguist from Zurich, she stops seeing Oskar. Henrik breaks up with Alma while Oskar will prefer to go out with a girl his own age.
"The idea for the film comes out of the desire to portray a particular human happening marked by the coming into play of several people with different ages, sexes, and cultural backgrounds" (Christian Rainer).

Christian Rainer
Christian Rainer (1976) lives and works in Bologna. His artistic activity encompasses many different fields - painting, music, poetry, and cinema. He has had his works shown at various exhibitions in Italy. He has worked as assistant director and artistic director for two stage plays - Ennio Flaiano's Le sedie di Ionesco and La donna nell'armadio. In 1998 he worked as assistant director and composer of the music for Giovanni Maderna's film, Dolce Stil Novo.
