This is a portrait of Glen F. Friedman, now considered one of the greatest American photographers of the most recent generations. Friedman began his activity very early when he started to photograph the young skateboarders of the California scene in the mid-1970s. In this way he documented the dawn of skating in that Dogtown (West Los Angeles) that was soon to become famous as the most radical gathering point of the scene and of the evolution of skating. Friedman, himself a skateboarder, is part of this group and shares this choice of life in person. The skaters were the opposite of the good little boys who practiced their sports in the official "little leagues". They do not have any limits. They would not be stopped by prohibitions, by the police, or by private-property signs.

Fluid Video Crew
Fluid Video Crew is the name of a group of authors (Davide Barletti, Lorenzo Conte, Edoardo Cicchetti, Mattia Mariani) who joined forces in Rome in 1995 to make audiovisual projects focusing on works dedicated to places and the stories of the people who live or travel through there. The authors have made roughly fifty films in video or on Super 8 film, an articulated socio-anthropological documentation that represents reality, never separating the land from the stories of its life.
