Which cinema is real cinema? Is auteur cinema better than cinema rife with special effects? Immersed in a theoretical-existential concentrate, a young university graduate in film studies is submerged in his work in a video store. He tries to orient the choices of his customers so that he can lead them to discover the cinema of the origins.

Max Carné
Max Carnemolla (Turin, 1969) is a university graduate in modern literature. He is intensely interested in photography. In 1995 he curated a photographic exhibit on unused industrial complexes entitled La fabbrica che non c'é più. He has been involved in video production for several years. His most important productions include Cinema Massimo (1994), I mostri hanno bisogno di luce (1995), Storie di città (1996), L'isola (1997), The City's Lights (1997), Requiem (1997), and Sconcertazione (1998).
