Image Workshop 2 is one of the educational structures that the Scholastic Educational Services Commission of the city of Turin makes available for educators. The key feature of the workshop is the fact that it simultaneously involves adults and children in the proposed activities. The activities are of various types. The image and sound activities use play as a way of experimenting with the possibilities of creating and manipulating images and sounds. The animated film activities consist in making materials for pre-cinema cameras, in experimenting with the various techniques of animated film, and in actually making films. The workshop also provides a space for permanent exhibitions. Image Workshop 2 organized the travelling exhibit, «Make Believe,» an interactive journey with images and the theater.
