The historic experience of the partisan war re-lived through fragments of fighting and passion, and re-interpreted by contemporary movie-makers in an adaptation of the voices, the stories and the images of the young men who fought the battles.
"The short films are a product of a diversification in research and stylistic choices. There is the classic montage of interviews. There is film archive material. The films range from this to electronic and visionary ways of working as well as the use of fiction. This is the kind of diversification that most effectively contributes to mirroring the world of the resistance" (Paola Olivetti).
