Country: Italy
Year: 1999
Duration: 7'

A speeding train is about to come into a country train station. We see the visibly strained face of a young woman. There are a series of memories and sensations that run through her head. There is the argument with her boyfriend who was accused of infidelity, a strange encounter on the stairs of the house, a woman suspected of being the lover of the boyfriend, two identical key chains, and other curious coincidences that drive her into a feeling of vertigo that she cannot give an objective answer to. Solution? Throw herself under a speeding train…

"Nothing Has Happened tells the story of the absence of a real story, the need that we often have to dramatize and emphasize everyday happenings and to find ambiguous meanings in things that are much more simple. This is like what the woman protagonist does in relation to her relationship in a couple. She freely associates real and imaginary images and looks at reality from only one point of view" (Giovanni La P`rola).
