O CERCO

Lisbon, 1969. Marta, a well-born twenty-year-old, leaves her husband to make a different life for herself, more authentic, far from the bourgeois schematism and prejudices. She knows quite well what she is giving up, but she isn't really sure just what it is she is looking for. First she works as a ground hostess and as a high-fashion model. One day she meets Victor, a well-off man who seems able to take care of her economic problems. But actually the man is a small-time smuggler and, a while later, his corpse is found in the river. Marta asks herself if it is her fault. In any case, now she will continue her life alone, with more understanding and lucidity.
