This short film was made to complement the exposition entitled Another Italy in Workers' Banners (December 1980 - June 1981 at the National Museum of the Risorgimento). It presents various sequences that feature some of the 200 banners exhibited at Palazzo Carignano. The documentary also contains several interviews with men and women who recognized some of the banners that were preserved as those they had held in their hands or carried on their shoulders more than 60 years ago. The short film includes a rare documentary film of May 1, 1920, a time when Italy had just entered peacetime and when Genoese workers went to meet the workers of Savona in order to bind together in a pact of a solidarity that is symbolic of the union of the proletariat of all the world.
