After living together for two years, Teresa wins a scholarship to study in London and Juan decides to split up with her the day before her departure, leaving the apartment they had been sharing. In order to forget Teresa, Juan tries to meet someone new. But this meeting has to happen by chance, because it would be somehow forced and faked to start a relationship any other way. So every afternoon, at the same time, he sits on a bench in the park, always the same bench. After letting a reasonable amount of time pass, in order to increase his possibilities, he starts sitting in a bar as well. Until he meets almost contemporaneously Alicia (in the park) and Ana (in the bar).
