FRAMMENTI DI MEMORIE

In 1990 Orfeo Mazzoni (1924-1998) told the story of his descent into the world of the Nazi concentration camps in front of a television camera. He had been deported to Mauthausen and Gusen in 1944. We have juxtaposed his narrative with present-day images of the camps. These are two memories that interweave, fuse, and convey a single disquieting message.
