Stanislas Oscar Seminario, known as SOS, young explorer back from Africa, goes to the house of his friends Pescara. The family is in a terrible state: Gerard, the father, receives a spate of anonymous letters. When he dies, poisoned, SOS becomes a detective and decides to lead the investigation.

Jean Devaivre
Jean Devaivre was born in 1912. Stage designer and then assistant Pierre Colombier, Maurice Tourneur, Pierre Billon, Leo Joanon, before World War II, Jean Devaivre has also participated in the editing of Boudu sauvé des eaux by Jean Renoir (not credited) and in Jacques de Baroncelli's Cessez le feu.
