Marguerite is eighteen years old, a teenage dreamer who hates the middle-class environment she lives in. Only one neighbor and her girlfriend Sandra seem to understand her. Claire is a married woman who lives in the country and does not have a job. She tries to distract herself writing songs, but what she really misses is having a child. She decides to go to Paris for a medical check up and there she has some important encounters. Jacques is desperate. His wife has left him and his daughter does not want to see him. One day he meets Eva, a young attractive woman who gives him money to find a woman friend of hers who has disappeared.

«From the beginning I thought of composing a triptych - three interwoven stories that stood next to each other. I wanted to emphasize their assonance. These are the three stories that I thought about and wrote together without any certainty that I could make them, without knowing the correspondences among them» (Laurence Ferreira Barbosa).
