This is the true story of a small alternative circus, anarchical and ecological, which was created following the student uprisings in France in 1968 thanks to the determination of François and his companions. The Cirque Bidon has no tent and moves from location to location using horse-drawn wagons. Its performers are mimes, tightrope walkers, jugglers, musicians, acrobats and clowns, and still today it is a community composed of people who escaped from the city and are projected towards a personal and collective revolution which is mirrored in the circus performances.
"The artists of the Cirque Bidon and I would like to try to transfer the story of our artistic and human adventure into a full-length movie" (Cristina Mazza).

Cristina Mazza
Cristina Mazza (Latina, 1969) is active both as a video maker and in the theater (with Pippo Delbono, Guy Alloucherie). In particular, she looks for creative spaces that are full of interference. She lives and works in a camper of the Cirque Bidon.
