The story of a heterosexual girl and a lesbian. Kyoko is an extravagant girl and lives as she pleases. Chinatsu, on the other hand, is more contemplative, and spends her days taking photographs. They live together in an isolated house, but they are neither friends nor lovers, they have a truly unique relationship. One day their lives are turned upside down by Sakamoto, a young man who works in a store that sells tropical fish. Kyoko falls in love with him and Chinatsu discovers that she loves Kyoko. Kyoko has to pretend she doesn't notices her friend's advances, but it isn't easy.

Shindo Kaze

Shindo Kaze was born in 1976 and lives in Kanagawa. He is the grandson of the great Japanese director Shindo Kaneto, and directed a documentary about him in 1998, while still a student at the Japan Film School. He works for television and has also been assistant director for numerous independent films.
