A young girl who is under the legal care of her father has been admitted to a hospital for eye surgery. She threatens the doctors with a gun, kidnaps the child and sets off to join her faith healer, the only person she thinks can truly cure the little girl.

Biography

film director

Peter Del Monte

Peter Del Monte was born in San Francisco in 1943, and his movie L'altra donna made him one of the first Italian directors to make a move which dealt with immigrants from outside the European Community. His curiosity of the fantastical and poetic world of childhood brought about a linguistic experiment using the technical potential of high definition filming (Giulia e Giulia). His stylistic research is aimed at a truly minimalist narrative description of events occurring to his characters.
